In recall, Despite the Supreme Court ruling on February 5 this year ,pronounced the Code of Conduct Tribunal has the jurisdiction to try the Senate President , Dr Saraki still insisted that they did not in last code of conduct sitting.
Today, Mr Saraki's counsel Mr Kanu Agabi argued again that the Code of Conduct Bureau did not allow his client to explain the decrepancies on the asset declarations form. ........fruitless argument
However, The Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Dalandi Umar Informed the court and Dr Saraki that the act that created the tribunal still gives room to the Senate President to clarify on the matter at the level of tribunal . .....Readers, it is finished what next for Senator president oooo!
The Justice also mentioned the Federal Government can initiate to criminal proceeding anytime a crime is uncovered regardless of time it is committed. ....abi oo
Mr Dalandi Umar on the behalf of the tribunal asked the prosecution to present his withness. Then he adjourned the case to 5th April, 2016.
